a decision at the January meeting to modify the
schedule for our monthly
newsletter and meeting announcement.
 A Chapter Meeting announcement
will be sent the Wednesday
before each monthly meeting.

on the 1st Wednesday following
the monthly Chapter Meeting.

Red Earth Chapter in OKC announces 1st Annual
PMI Symposium
As announced at the Red Earth Chapter January
meeting, plans are
underway for our 1st Annual Red Earth PMI
Symposium. Mark your
calendars now -- This symposium will be held on
April 24, 2004 in
Oklahoma City. The Symposium will
consist of a day full of educational
activities for you to participate
in. We will start the day with a
keynote speaker, and follow with a number of
paper presentations on
various Project Management topics.
For PMP's, this will be an
excellent way to earn PDU's. For
those pursuing your PMP, this will
provide a good way to earn contact hours.

to present a paper

PMP Renewal Fee Implementation Update.
In response to component
leadership feedback, PMI has re-evaluated the
renewal fee discount
granted to active PMI members. The
previously announced amount of
$75.00 (US) per renewal cycle has been reduced
to $60.00 (US). The
non-member rate will remain at the previously
published amount of
$150.00 (US). The PMI Records group has
begun processing Professional
Development Unit (PDU) claims submitted in
2004. All Application for
Renewal forms now sent will contain information
on payment of the
renewal fee. For additional information on
