Strategies for Managing Single-TIme Efforts (1 day) $249/person The
ability to manage projects has become a critical corporate and individual
skill set and professionals must be able to respond to rapidly changing
conditions in a reasonable, timely and intelligent manner. This one-day
seminar will provide you with proven strategies, processes, templates and
forms used by numerous organizations of varying sizes (including several
Fortune 100 companies) to manage their projects. June 15-17, 2004: Managing Single Time Efforts:
"Project Managment in the Information Age" (3 days)
$595/person In
yesterday’s world, project management was considered a technical skill
influencing isolated areas of the organization, as in managing a building
project, replacing part of an assembly line or developing a software
package. Today, enterprises of all sizes find that with downsized
organizations, the project management discipline must reach and communicate
across the total organizational structure in order to create innovative
responses to internal and external customer needs. This one-day seminar
will provide proven strategies, processes, templates and forms used by
numerous organizations including several Fortune 100 companies to manage
their projects. August 17 - October 19, 2004: PMP Certification
Preparation Class (Tuesday evenings) ($450 PMI Members or $595
nonMember) This is
PMI Tulsa's annual review session to help prepare experienced project
managers for the PMP Certification exam. The class will give you a
complete overview of the nine project management knowledge areas identified
by PMI. The course can also serve as an introductory class for
individuals new to the Project Management discipline. Details

(3 days) $595/person As
organizations become more sensitive to the need to control their single-time
efforts, they discover a demand for education in many of the fundamental skills required by Project Managers.
This three-day seminar provides a workshop on a suite of foundational skills
such as breaking down the work that must be performed, estimating the effort,
planning the work, scheduling the work, evaluating intermediate project
