PMI Tulsa's Professional Development Day: May 18th - 19th
Gain valuable information, earn PDUs and network with other PMPs at the PMIT Professional Development Day as we focus on the value of strong leadership in project management.
Walter Viali, of the Leadership Consulting Group, will provide a unique look at project leadership in his sessions on "Why Gen. George Armstrong Custer Should Have Been a PMP-Revisiting the Battle of the Little Bighorn with the PMBOK ® Guide" and "Project Management According to Napoleon-A Lesson in Leadership."
Also, you don't want to miss the Leadership Essentials workshop Friday afternoon conducted by Bill Fournet - Founder, President & CEO of The Persimmon Group.
This year, we are also hosting PMI Chapter Board members at the Region 6 conference on May 18th-20th. PDD participants are invited to attend the Region 6 conference morning session on Saturday, May 19th with keynote speaker, Carey Lohrenz, former F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot for "Lessons in Leadership from the Flight Deck." Afterwards, there will be a presentation on the success of implementing project management within our school systems followed by lunch. Saturday morning activities will earn participants an additional 3 PDUs.
